Reduction of the Electromagnetic Torque Oscillation during the Direct on Line (DOL) Starting of a 6 kV Motor by Means of a Controlled Vacuum Circuit-Breaker

This article deals with the issue of reduction oscillation electromagnetic torque in case a direct on line (DOL) starting 6 kV induction motor. Such engines are used drive systems where frequent may be required. Direct such reduce mechanical and thermal durability. Therefore, presents method DOL motor use vacuum circuit-breakers appropriate switching voltages supplying electric machine. To confirm advantages proposed solution, computer simulation experimental tests were carried out, which presented discussed article. The obtained results compared to classic known from literature.
